Education Foundation Sponsors a Parent Directory
Please join today and connect with other Rockford Area School families!
The Rockford Education Foundation is introducing a new service to help connect area families with children Pre -K-12th grade, who attend the Rockford Area Schools! Benefits include: secure login, volunteer sign-ups for all schools, and year round online access. The directory can also be great for planning birthday parties, play dates, team/activity gatherings or simply as a way to reach other parents.
Free online access will be given to all families who voluntarily join. This service and publication are NOT intended for unapproved or unauthorized non-profit, for-profit or political reasons.

A printed directory with additional valuable school/community information will be available and can be purchased by you for $18 each.

Please use the secure form below to add your information to our new online and mobile directory:
Go to: join.myschoolanywhere.com
Enter Your Join Code: rockford

Parents are asked to please submit information by November 15, 2016.
Online Access will be available on November 15, 2016
(You will receive an email with a link to login on ANY device with internet access and your temporary password.)
Pre-ordered printed directories will be dispersed in early December.
A limited supply will be available for $18 each.
Please Note: This is not a ISD #883 sponsored publication and any information or data collected will not qualify under Rockford Area Schools Policy #515 as a student record. Information listed in the this parent directory was given voluntarily by each individual family. The Rockford Area Schools has not shared or supplied information from their student-family database for this public parent directory.

Be Sure to Get on the School Census!
New to the District?
Have Young Children?

If you have recently moved to our school district and have children ages birth through five, it is important that they are included in the school census.
Each year, school districts throughout Minnesota are required by state law to conduct a census of the students who live within the district. This
is vital information for planning and providing educational services, as well as meeting state requirements. Being on the school census ensures that you receive notification about early childhood classes, early childhood screening, kindergarten round-up and other school-related information.
The fillable, on-line form can be found here by clicking on this link before September 30, 2016. The information requested will include parent/guardian name, county of residences, home address, home telephone number, name and birth dates of all children in the household. This information will only be used for school business and will be handled in a confidential manner.  If you are not sure whether your children are listed on the school census, please contact the District Registrar, Paula Wanous, at 763-477-9165, X4003.
Your assistance is greatly appreciated!

REAMS Unites Against Bullying Day - October 19th
Every student should have a safe learning environment. To raise awareness, educate others and encourage a school culture based on kindness, REAMS staff and students will take a stand against bullying by wearing ORANGE on October 19th.  PACER (www.pacer.org/bullying) has created a national campaign during the month of October to encourage schools and communities to unite against bullying.  At REAMS, we will celebrate belonging by making a Unity Tree with student-created leaves. The Unity Tree will serve as a reminder to everyone that bullying can be prevented with we all come together - united for kindness, acceptance and inclusion.

If you would like to order a custom “REAMS Unites Against Bullying” shirt for your student, please click here for a printable order form. Order forms are due to the REAMS front office by October 6th. Students and staff are encouraged to wear ORANGE the second Wednesday of each month to help remind students to be kind and friendly.  We look forward to the sea of orange on October 19th and the second Wednesday of each month!
